Car park drifter arrested in Oman

Muscat: A citizen has been arrested for drifting and performing with his car in a parking area, officials announced.
The Khasab Police Station has arrested a citizen who was caught on camera while drifting and performing dangerous acts while in a parking area.
The parking area belonged to a shopping centre in Khasab, and the individual has confessed to his crime after being confronted.
The Royal Oman Police called on motorists, especially young people, not to commit such misconduct, as it causes a lot of human and material damage.
"The act can lead to the death of the perpetrators, along with public bystanders nearby, not to mention damage to other road users," the ROP said.
The source also praised the cooperation of citizens and residents in reducing this phenomena.
