New general manager at Al Hassan  Engineering

Muscat: Al Hassan Engineering has appointed Adil Darwish Yousef Al Lawati as general manager (Projects), in its efforts to empower qualified Omanis to assume executive roles. He will be reporting to Steve Scott, the chief executive officer.
Adil has over two decades of extensive and diverse work experience in the Oil & Gas business. He holds a distinction in Bachelor of Science (Mechanical Engineering) from the University Of Arizona, Tucson, Arizona, US.
His last assignment was with Tebodin & Partner where he worked for 8 years and prior to that he worked as a director – major contracts division. Before Tebodin, Adil worked in Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) where he started his career and worked on various assignments for 19 years which includes a stint with Shell Exploration & Production UK in Aberdeen for three years.
During his tenure with PDO, he worked on various assignments starting from construction, through facilities/process/concept engineer to head process / concept engineering and subsequently head - Project Engineering South & North. His last assignment before leaving PDO was as Fahud steam project manager.

In the role of general manager (Projects), he will be responsible for all our key projects in Oman and the heads of business streams will be reporting to him.
