Royal Oman Police arrests four for possessing drugs

Muscat: Four suspects were arrested in two drug cases in Al Seeb, officials announced.
The Directorate General for the Control of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances managed to arrest four suspects in two cases of possession and abuse of drugs in Al Seeb.
Two of the suspects, a man and a woman, were arrested in the industrial area of ​​Al Maabela. The suspects were found with a quantity of morphine, in addition to injections and other tools for drug abuse.
Two other suspects were arrested at their place of residence in the North Al Hail area. They were found with a quantity of morphine, and small pieces of cannabis.
The ROP thanks all those who cooperate with the agency to curb the spread of drugs, and calls for more cooperation with regards to informing the police of any actions that involve narcotics and psychotropic substances, by contacting hotline 1444 or 9999. The Police also confirms that informants will retain confidentiality.
