Oman Cricket: BOC teams return home after successful tour of UK

Muscat: The junior cricket teams of Bosher Olympic Centre (BOC) returned home after a successful tour of the United Kingdom.
According to a statement issued by the BOC on Sunday, the teams toured the UK from June 12 to 24, during which they trained and played matches in London and Yorkshire.
“Bosher Olympic Centre teams have successfully completed a tour of London and Yorkshire. The teams have played as many as 22 matches against different clubs from Yorkshire, including Woodland, Outcasts, Whitkirk and Watford Town, schools teams like Silcoats and Monar High Schools,” the BOC statement said.
“The BOC U-13 A, U-13 B and U-16 teams have played seven matches each. Most of those matches were played in Yorkshire while the final five were played in Watford. All the touring players got tremendous exposure and experience of playing in different conditions in the U.K. And the boys will benefit from this experience when they return to their respective league engagements in Oman.”
The BOC, meanwhile, thanked all the clubs and schools for giving their trainees the opportunity to play on different grounds and natural turf wickets.
