Customs seizes alcohol, cigarettes, fireworks at Oman border

Muscat: Oman Customs has confiscated various contraband items that were trying to be smuggled into the Sultanate, the department has announced.
According to statements online, a number of alcoholic beverages, 676 pieces of illegal fireworks, and a considerable amount of contraband cigarettes have been confiscation at the Hafeet border.
The officers were able to stop the smuggling operations as the vehicles entered into the Sultanate, carrying these items.
