Seeb water pipe explosion is fake news, says water board in Oman

Muscat: The explosion of a water pipe in Seeb is a rumour, officials have said.

The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) have denied rumours that had been circulating on Whatsapp and other social networking platforms about a water pipe explosion.
The water pipe in question feeds the Seeb area, according to the Authority.
"We urge everyone to take information from official sources, and not pay attention to rumours," they said.
