Muscat: Under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khalid bin Omar Al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service and Chairman of the Institute of Public Administration (IPA) Board, the Board of Directors of the IPA held at the Ministry of Civil Service on Wednesday its 2nd meeting for 2017.
The Board approved items listed on the agenda of the second meeting, which include two main issues namely the IPA's proposed organisational chart, brand identity (logo) and some other items as well.
The Board reviewed the report on following up implementing the decisions taken at the IPA's board meeting on 27/3/2017 and took necessary decisions towards them.
The Board also discussed the proposed organisational chart of IPA, which translated the Institute's system issued by the Royal Decree No. 28/2016.
The Board discussed the proposed identity, which reflects the Institute's trends in the coming years to be a key source for achieving sustainable development by developing a number of integrated services that are connected with enhancing the efficiency of employees
at the state's administrative apparatus, enriching administrative thought and providing viable solutions for the challenges facing the development plans and programmes.
