Muscat: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs received a copy of credentials of Sharmila Parajuli as the first appointed and resident ambassador of Nepal to the Sultanate.
This came when bin Alawi received her in his office on Sunday. Bin Alawi welcomed the ambassador, wishing her success in her tour of duty and the bilateral relations between the two countries further progress in all fields.
The meeting was attended by a number of officials at the Foreign Ministry.
Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs also received Hans Christian, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate to bid him farewell at the end of his tour of duty in the Sultanate.
Bin Alawi wished the ambassador success in his future assignments and the bilateral relations between the two countries further progress and growth to serve the joint interests of both countries.
