Two arrested by police for robbing store

Muscat: Two individuals have been arrested for allegedly stealing from a commercial store in Al Khaboura, the ROP announced Monday.
The Department of Criminal Investigation, led by North Batinah police, arrested two citizens for stealing from a shop in Wilayat Khaboura.
An official source within the ROP said that the defendants were able to enter the shop by taking off the door. The defendants allegedly stole a safe which held a large amount of money, along with mobile phone recharge cards.
After investigations and search, the accused were identified, and were found to have existing criminal records. The accused have admitted to the robbery charges against them.
