PAEW warns of water shortage in Al Dakhiliyah

Muscat: There may be a water shortage all day Tuesday in Al Dakhiliyah, officials have warned.
The Public Authority for Electricity and Water (PAEW) has released a statement online detailing the maintenance work of a few water pumps in Al Dakhiliyah.
"The PAEW will carry out maintenance at the Main Pumping Station that feeds the Governorate of Dakhiliyah, which calls for water pumps to be stopped for the maintenance timing," a statement said. The maintenance will begin on Tuesday and may last for 24 hours.
"The Authority apologises for any shortage in water supply, and cautions subscribers to take all necessary precautions, and ration the consumption of water accordingly," they added.
