Al Mouj Muscat names new chief executive officer

Muscat: Al Mouj Muscat, Oman’s premier lifestyle destination, has announced the appointment of Nasser bin Masoud Al Sheibani as its chief executive officer. He previously served as chief financial officer and was later named acting CEO. Al Sheibani joined Al Mouj Muscat in 2007, according to a press release.
Al Sheibani has over 19 years of experience in property development, hotels, banking, and oil and gas sectors. Al Sheibani graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Sultan Qaboos University, attended various executive education and leadership programmes, and graduated from the National CEO programme sponsored by the Diwan of Royal Court and provided by IMD and McKinsey.
Throughout his career, Al Sheibani has demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, being awarded the Chairman’s Award for Excellence during his tenure at Petroleum Development Oman. He is a Non-Executive Board Member of Oman Investment Finance Company and Head of its Audit Committee.
“We are happy to announce the appointment of Nasser, who, with his understanding of the business, is well positioned to expand on the solid foundations of Al Mouj Muscat, while continuing to make it an attractive destination that brings people, businesses and cultures together to create a world class waterfront community,” said Al Mouj Muscat chairman Eng. Sultan bin Hamdoon Al Harthi.
