New taxis launched on Oman’s Roads

A new taxi app has been launched in Oman to help people travel from one point to another without hassle. Called the ‘Marhaba Taxi App’, the application allows people to order a taxi on their mobile phones and also give their location out to the taxi drivers who are close to the area. Fares start from OMR3.5 and the first five kilometers are free of cost, after which every kilometer is charged at 500 baizas. All taxis have been installed with tracking devices, and once you reach your destination, you will get a receipt on your email with the kilometers, route covered and the total fare.
