Sunaidi lays stress on the need to further improve Riyada services in Oman

Muscat: Improving services rendered by the Public Authority for SMEs Development 'Riyada' to entrepreneurs and helping them promote their projects was stressed by Dr. Ali bin Mas'oud Al Sunaidi, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
Dr. Sunaidi, who is also the Chairman of the Riyada Board said this at the first meeting of the Riyada Board for 2017 he chaired.
The Board approved rendering Riyada services to entrepreneurs at Al Raffd Fund branches in the governorates.
At the initial stage, the services will be rendered at Al Raffd Fund branches in Al Buraimi and South Al Batinah Governorates.
The Board reviewed the outcomes of the study made on establishing business incubators at the Sultanate and creating business development centers for these incubators to provide the technical training and rehabilitation for entrepreneurs hosted by the incubators.
Further, The Board included a presentation on the proposed development of Riyada and Al Raffd Fund premises through real estate developers inside the Sultanate. It also discussed the partnerships and investment opportunities with the private sector.
The Board stressed the need to continue efforts made in 'franchise' and creating promising business opportunities for entrepreneurs in
different business activities at the various governorates.
