Oman transport: 275km of roads paved in North Batinah

Muscat: 275km of internal roads have been paved in North Batinah, Regional Municipalities announced on Tuesday.
The scheme included the paving of internal roads in various wilayats of the Governorate, as well as the installation of 143 light poles.
In Suwaiq, work continues according to plans that involve three packages of internal roads. The first package involves paving 22,600km of inner roads, the second with 32,950km of inner roads, and the third would result in the paving of 29,700km of inner roads.
For industrial planning within the Governorate, the Ministry plans to extend the paving of inner roads and connect them with the larger main roads. 5km of inner roads have been paved, and work is underway on paving roads in Al-Batha, with a total length of 13 km. In addition, workers are also attending to maintenance and repair of damaged roads due to rain.
In Wilayat of Khaboura, 24,700 km of inner roads are in the plans for the first package, and 19,450 km of inner roads will be paved in the second package.
The construction and paving of a road in Zweihr area is also in the works, at a length of 3.5km. 7km of roads will be paved in Al Khaboura according to industrial planning, in addition to the maintenance and repair of roads damaged by rain.
In the Governorate of Sahem, 21,450km of will be paved for inner roads for the first package, and 20,080km of inner roads will be paved for the second package. In addition, the paving of the internal roads in the industrial plan for Sahem is 10 km in Phase 1, and 8 km in Phase 2.
In Wilayat of Liwa, a total length of 31,500 km will be paved for inner roads.
Repair
The industrial plan involves km of inner road paving, as well as maintenance and repair of damaged roads in the area of ​​Fazh. Work will also continue on the paving of inner roads in the state of Shinas, with a total length of 26km.
