Oman's Sayyid Asa'ad participates in Arab Summit in Jordan

Dead Sea: Delegated by His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said, His Highness Sayyid Asa'ad bin Tariq bin Taimour Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation Affairs and Personal Representative of His Majesty the Sultan took part in the 28th Arab Summit, which commenced its deliberations in the Dead Sea in Jordan on Wednesday.
The Summit addresses a range of issues including the Palestinian cause, as well as the situations in Syria, Libya and Yemen. It also discusses combating terrorism, in addition to the Arab economic and social joint cooperation.
Further, the Summit also discusses the Arab joint status in terms of trade, investment, the Arab strategy to meet water challenges and the executive frame plan for the emergency program of Arab food security for the second stage, as well as the Arab convention on plant resources and h
eritage knowledge.
