Washington: Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah, Minister Responsible for Foreign Affairs, participated in the meeting of Foreign Ministers of the Global Coalition against Daesh, with the participation of foreign ministers of 68 countries held in the US capital Washington.
US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson chaired the meeting. He said in a speech that the first goal of the US in the Middle East is to defeat the Daesh.
Tillerson confirmed that the meeting discussed the continued fight against terrorism and law enforcement efforts in the region, increasing intelligence and information exchange between states and allies and countering the presence of terrorism in cyberspace.
On the sidelines of the meeting, Yousuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah met with Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó.
