What’s Special: Apart from several important landmarks like Al Khoudh citadel, Al Jifnain towers and Naseem Garden, there are approximately 140 mosques in Al Seeb. Most of the government institutions are located here. Sultan Qaboos University, SQU Hospital, and Armed Forces Hospital are in this wilayat. The wilayat is rich with dams and wadis and Al Khoudh dam that stores large quantities of water. In the old part of the city lies the beautifully designed Souq Seeb. Located along the coastal road in Seeb, one can find almost anything here. From traditional jewellery and local perfumes to clothes and fruits. The beach in Seeb attracts many visitors. One can see boats and fishermen along with many fishing enthusiasts there.
