Muscat: Starting from Tuesday, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will allow citizens of GCC countries and foreigners, who have visas, to exit and enter the country, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) announced.
Controls include not allowing any person to enter the Kingdom's territory except after submitting evidence that he/she is free of the virus with an examination report that is not more than 48 hours old at the moment he/she arrives at the airport.
An official at the Ministry of Interior in the KSA stated: “Allowing entry and exit to the Kingdom of GCC citizens, as well as allowing non-Saudis who have got exit and return visas, or work, residence or visit visas."
"The suspension is partially lifted on international flights to and from the Kingdom, and the land, sea and air ports are opened, allowing the excluded groups of citizens and others to enter and exit," the statement added.
The implementation of the aforementioned rules will begin at 6 am on Tuesday, September 15, 2020.
