Earthquake reported in Oman

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in Dakhiliyah, Bahla on Saturday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC) at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said, “An earthquake was reported in Dakhiliyah, Bahla with a magnitude of 2.1 at 9:23 pm MCT and at a depth of 5 km. The earthquake was recorded 27 km away from Nizwa.”
