Woman arrested for insulting Oman's currency

Muscat: A woman has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), on charges of insulting and showing contempt for Omani currency.

A statement issued online by the ROP said, "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested an Arab woman on charges of insulting and displaying contempt for the Omani currency after she posted a video on social media. The legal procedures for her are completed."
