Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning issues statement on transfer of land ownership

Muscat: Starting from 19th November, two years will be given to anyone who loses Omani nationality to transfer the ownership of his land to an Omani citizen, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning has said.

A statement issued online by The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning said, "Starting on 19th November, a period of two years will be given to anyone who lost, revoked, or have withdrawn their Omani citizenship to transfer the ownership of the land granted to them to an Omani citizen, regardless of whether it is a space or land with occupations."
