His Majesty the Sultan orders laptops for needy students

Muscat: The Private Office on Tuesday issued a statement reading as follows:
His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik has issued Royal directives to provide laptops for all new students belonging to Social Security and Low Income Families who join higher education institutions in the forthcoming academic year (2020/2021).
The generous Royal gesture reflects His Majesty the Sultan’s keenness to enhance the ability of students in the field of information and communication technology and help them keep abreast of modern online education.
May the Almighty Allah protect His Majesty the Sultan and guard him as a source of inspiration for this dear homeland and those who reside in it!
May He eternalise the bounty of prosperity under His Majesty the Sultan’s wise leadership!
Dr. Rahma bint Ibrahim bin Said Al Mahrouqiyah, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Laila bint Ahmed bin Awadh Al Najar, Minister of Social Development, have praised the Royal Directives on the provision of laptops to all new students under social security and families with limited income who have joined the higher education institutions for 2020/2021.
