140 new coronavirus cases, 16 deaths reported in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 140 new coronavirus cases and 16 deaths in Oman on Monday.

The total cases in the country has now touched 83,226, including 77,812 recoveries and 588 deaths, according to MOH.

In the past 24 hours, 132 recoveries were reported.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
