Salalah receives highest rainfall across Oman

Muscat: The wilayat of Salalah has received the highest amount of rainfall in the last three days across Oman, the Ministry of Regional Municipalities and Water Resources said on Sunday.

In a report of rainfall recorded in the period between August 13 and 15, 2020, data revealed that the wilayat of Salalah received 15 mm followed by Al Mudhaibi in North Al Sharqiyah which received 14 mm in the same period.

According to ministry data, wilayats in Dhofar Governorate recorded the largest share of rain during the three days. The Wilayat of Mirbat recorded 10 mm, followed by Taqah and Rakhyut with 5 mm each, Dhalkut 3 mm and Al Mazyunah and Shalim recorded 1 mm of rain each.
