Urgent appeal for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed to holders of O- blood type to donate urgently.

A statement issued online by DBBS said, "Due to the urgent need for type O- , we ask the holders of this type to take the initiative to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar."

"Kindly contact the blood bank to book an appointment for blood donation by calling 94555648," the statement added.
