Omani officer wins top honour at Sandhurst

Muscat: An officer from the Royal Army of Oman has won the prestigious Sword of Honour at the Sandhurst Military Academy in the United Kingdom.

A report from the Oman News Agency said, “Officer Candidate Al Azhar bin Zahir Al Zakwani, from the Royal Army of Oman, receives the Sword of Honour from the Royal Military Academy in Sandhurst in the United Kingdom, after winning first place among the group of nominated international officers from 28 participating countries.”
Oman’s Moral Guidance Department of the Ministry of Defence added: “Officer Candidate Al Azhar bin Zahir Al Zakwani won first place and surpassed the rest of the nominated international officers, for which he received the Sword of Honour.”
