Rain likely in parts of Oman

Muscat: Parts of the coastal areas of Dhofar Governorate witnessed scattered rainfall on Thursday, while there are chance of rains in other parts of Sultanate.

General Directorate of Meteorology said: "Chances of cumulus clouds activity on the Hajar Mountains and scattered rain, associated with thunderstorm sometimes and accompanied by active winds.

Adding that:" Cumulus clouds and opportunities for scattered rain, sometimes thunderstorms, are active in parts of the Dhofar governorates (mountainous and desert regions) and Al Wusta governorate."
