Two women arrested for stealing jewellery

Muscat: Two women have been arrested on charges of stealing gold jewellery from a shop in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate.

Royal Oman Police said in a statement: "South Al Sharqiya Police Command arrested two women of two different nationalities for stealing gold jewelry from a shop in Wilayat Al Kamel and Al Wafi."

"The women escaped and were arrested in the Wilayat of Samail, in Al Dakhiliya Governorate, and legal procedures against them are being completed," ROP added.
