Citizen arrested in Oman on drug possession charges

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) arrested a citizen in Al Buraimi governorate on charges of drug possession.

The ROP said in a statement: "Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command has arrested a citizen in possession of approximately one kilogram of morphine, more than 15 grams of crystal drug and 40 tablets of psychotropic substances. Legal procedures are being completed against him."
