Muscat: Scattered rainfall over the Al Hajar mountains and surrounding areas as well as cloudy skies over coastal areas of Dhofar have been forecast for Monday by the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA).
In its forecast, PACA said, "Clear to partly cloudy skies over the rest of the Sultanate. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds over parts of Arabian Sea and coastal areas."
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 37 degrees Celsius and 31 degrees in Muscat, 28 degrees and 26 degrees in Salalah, 40 degrees and 32 degrees in Khasab, 37 degrees and 31 degrees in Sohar, 39 degrees and 33 degrees in Sur, 42 degrees and 30 degrees in Nizwa, 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Ibri, 44 degrees and 32 degrees in Buraimi, 35 degrees and 25 degrees in Thamrait and 35 degrees and 26 degrees in Duqm.
The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Monday is 45 degrees in Fahud and the lowest is 18 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
