Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 590 new coronavirus cases in Oman on Thursday.
Among those, 94 new cases were of expats and 496 of Omanis.
The total cases in the country has now touched 79,159, including 61421 recoveries and 421 deaths, according to MOH.
The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH, as well as staying at home and not going out unless necessary.
