
Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services, (DBBS), has listed out a few conditions to be careful of while donating blood.
A statement issued online by DBBS listed out the conditions to be as follows:
- The age of the donor should be between 18 and 65 years.
- The weight of the donor should not be less than 50 kg.
- The blood pressure should be at the normal rate.
- The haemoglobin level should be in the normal range.
- Answer honestly and transparently all the blood donation questions.
- No contraindication to the blood donation.
