Supreme Committee visits National Committee for Emergency Management

Muscat: The Supreme Committee for dealing with coronavirus has visited the National Committee for Emergency Management.
His Excellency Hammoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, Minister of Interior, Chairman of the Committee and other members were briefed on the role of the National Committee for Emergency Management in dealing with COVID-19 especially with regard to the complete closure of governorates and the prevention of movement that is carried out by the Royal Oman Police in cooperation with the Armed Forces.
The National Committee for Emergency Management, which is setting the plans and mechanisms to enhance the resources and capabilities necessary to limit the spread of COVID-19 and ensure the sustainability of basic services includes as members government agencies, the Sultan's Armed Forces and the Royal Oman Police and other relevant authorities.
