Earthquake reported in Gulf of Arabia

Muscat: An earthquake has been reported in the Arabian Gulf on Sunday, according to the Earthquake Monitoring Centre (EMC), located at the Sultan Qaboos University.

A statement issued online by the EMC said: “An earthquake in Arabian Gulf 47 km away from Khasab in Musandam governorate, with magnitude of 3.5, at 10:23 am MCT and at a depth of 22 km."
