Urgent appeal made for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Bank Services (DBBS) has made an urgent appeal for people to come forward and donate blood.

The DBBS said in a statement, "Due to a shortage of blood donors, we appeal to everyone to take the initiative to donate blood at the Central Blood Bank at Baushar."

"The blood donation times, from Saturday to Thursday, are from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
