Muscat: The Ministry of Health has dismissed the reports of arrival of healthcare professionals and medical relief from the neighbouring countries to help in the fight against COVID-19.
The ministry said in a statement: "The ministry denies what is being circulated through social media platforms about the arrival of medical crews and aid from neighbouring countries to confront the COVID-19 pandemic and the ministry confirms its readiness and willingness to deal with the pandemic."
The ministry noted that it has increased capacity in all hospitals and confirmed its confidence and pride in health crews of citizens and residents who exert their efforts and energy to serve patients.
"The Ministry calls upon everyone to obtain information from official sources."
