Muscat: Air India will organise a further 34 repatriation flights to Muscat, to bring home Indian nationals who wish to return to their country during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The flights are part of more than 200 flights organised to cities in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to fly home Indian nationals living and working there.
A statement from Air India, the country’s national carrier, said: “Flights to bring back Indian nationals from the Gulf countries have been organised. Please book your tickets for Air India and Air India Express flights at their booking offices.”
Oman aside, 145 flights have been organised to cities in the UAE (54 each to Dubai and Sharjah, 37 to Abu Dhabi), seven to Bahrain, and 50 to three cities in Saudi Arabia: Dammam, Jeddah and Riyadh.
