No injuries as fire quickly extinguished in Seeb farm

Muscat: The firefighting teams of the Civil Defence and Ambulance Administration in Muscat Governorate managed to put out a fire that broke out on a farm in the Wilayat of Seeb. No injuries were reported in the incident.

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said in a statement: "The Authority’s operations centre received a call of a fire at a farm in Al Naseem area of the Wilayat of Seeb. Immediately, the firefighting teams were sent to the site where they extinguished the fire without any injuries to anyone."

PACDA added that the fire occurred in a store of recycled wood kept inside the farm.

The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance calls upon the owners of farms and businesses to abide by the safety requirements and take permits from the competent authorities to avoid the losses.
