Driving license can be renewed online: ROP 

Muscat: The citizens and residents can renew their driving license card electronically starting from Sunday, 12th July.

A statement issued online by the Royal Oman Police (ROP) said, ”The Royal Oman Police announces that citizens and residents can renew the terminated driving license card electronically through the police website and the police application via smartphones from Sunday 12th July 2020.”

“With the necessity of activating the electronic certification service (PKI) and storing the result of an electronic eye examination, and then receiving it from the nearest police service centre in the various governorates,” the statement said.
