Over 40 per cent dip in sale of aviation fuel: NCSI

Muscat: The sale of aviation fuel has decreased by more than 40 per cent until the end of May.

However, the sale of gasoline (M-95) has recorded an increase of 38.6 per cent in May 2020, according to the statistics provided by the National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI)

A statement issued online by NCSI said, "As compared to the same period in 2019, a decrease of 44 per cent has been recorded in the sale of aviation fuel until May 2020. NCSI indicated, " A total of 714,500 barrels of gasoline (M-95) was sold in May 2020, which is an increase of 38.6 per cent compared to April 2020."
