Khat smuggling attempt foiled in Oman

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP) has thwarted an attempt to smuggle the khat drug into Dhofar governorate.

ROP said in a statement: "The Dhofar Governorate Police Command foiled an operation to smuggle large quantities of khat drug in the wilayat of Salalah."
