Muscat airport handles 64,000 passengers in over three months

Although Oman airports remain closed due to COVID-19 pandemic, 64,000 passengers have travelled through Muscat International Airport (MIA) in special flights in over three months.According to statistics issued by Oman Airports, as many as 5,455 flights landed and departed from the Muscat International Airport between March 23 to June 27, 2020.Officials said that flights via Oman’s airports dropped by 85 per cent while the number of passengers dropped by 90 per cent compared to last year.
