Traffic lights to start at roundabout in Muscat

Muscat: Traffic lights will be started at the Burj Al Sahwa Roundabout on Monday, 29th of June 2020 and the roundabout will be open to traffic.

A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said: “The Municipality announces the start of traffic lights and opening to traffic of the Burj Al Sahwa Roundabout from Monday morning, in coordination with the Royal Oman Police (ROP).”

“This comes as part of the effort to organise the lanes, to meet the traffic density, and to streamline traffic at the entrances and exits of the roundabout,” the statement added.
