Muscat: Some parts of Oman, including the Al Hajar mountains and adjacent Wilayats and coastal areas of Dhofar could see isolated rainfall on Saturday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), said in its weather forecast.
“Clear to partly cloudy skies along the coastal areas of Dhofar and adjacent mountains. Mainly clear skies over the rest of the Sultanate. Chances of late night to early morning low-level clouds or fog patches along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea."
PACA also said, "Today's sea state and wind forecast is 'rough' (waves of up to 3.5 m height) along the coastal areas of the Arabian Sea.
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 35 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees in Muscat, 32 degrees and 28 degrees in Salalah, 40 degrees and 34 degrees in Khasab, 37 degrees and 31 degrees in Sohar, 40 degrees and 30 degrees in Sur, 43 degrees and 27 degrees in Nizwa, 45 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri and 43 degrees and 31 degrees in Buraimi.
The Oman News Agency (ONA) said, “The highest temperature expected on Saturday is 45 degrees in Wilayat of Ibri and the lowest is 19 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
