Muscat: There are chances of isolated rains over Dhofar governorate, Al Hajar Mountains and adjoining wilayats and dusty winds over deserts and open areas on Friday, the Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA), said in its weather forecast.
“Clear to partly cloudy skies along coastal areas of Dhofar and adjacent mountains. Mainly clear skies over rest of the Sultanate. Chances of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches along coastal areas of the Arabian Sea."
The expected maximum and minimum temperatures will be 36 degrees Celsius and 30 degrees in Muscat, 32 degrees and 27 degrees in Salalah, 40 degrees and 34 degrees in Khasab, 36 degrees and 31 degrees in Sohar, 40 degrees and 29 degrees in Sur, 43 degrees and 27 degrees in Nizwa, 45 degrees and 30 degrees in Ibri and 45 degrees and 32 degrees in Buraimi.
The Oman News Agency (ONA), said: “The highest temperature expected on Friday is 45 degrees in wilayat of Buraimi and the lowest is 19 degrees in Jabal Shams.”
