Muscat: The government has issued precautionary measures for malls and commercial centres in Oman on Tuesday.
As malls and commercial centres in Muscat open for visitors, people going to these places will be able to stay there for only two hours, Muscat Municipality announced as a precaution.

The measures include age restriction which does not allow individuals aged above 60 years or below 12 years to enter the malls or commercial shops.
Muscat municipality said in its precautionary procedures: "It should be mentioned in the guidance panel that the customer cannot stay more than two hours and similarly those who have a body temperature above normal will not be allowed entry."
The malls and shops should be adequately ventilated and regularly cleaned. Hand sanitizers should be available at the entrance or on the cashier desk.
Prayer rooms shall be closed at all times until further notice is issued by the Supreme Committee.
Retail shops should not transfer their staff from one department to the other. All surfaces such as mobiles and laptop screens at such shops to be kept clean and sanitized regularly.
The number of parking lots must be reduced to 50% at all levels of the mall and commercial centres.
