New educational platform to be launched in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Education has remotely signed an agreement with Ooredoo Oman on Tuesday to launch an educational platform.

A statement issued online by the Ministry of Education said: "In order to enhance the partnership between the Ministry and the private sector, we have remotely signed an agreement with Ooredoo Oman to launch an educational platform to serve our students and teachers and help them face challenges arising from the coronavirus pandemic."

"The signing of the agreement is a continuation of the company's active role in supporting education and adopting digital initiatives," the statement added.
