Temperature of over 48 degrees recorded in Oman

Muscat: The highest temperature recorded in the Sultanate on Sunday was at Hamra ad Duru station.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, "Hamra ad Duru station recorded 48.5 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the meteorological stations yesterday. Dhalkut station recorded 22.5 degrees as the lowest temperature."
