A’soud Global School appoints visionary educator Lee Davies as principal

Muscat: Following its ground-breaking move to support parents financially during the COVID-19 crisis, A’soud Global School (AGS), now appoints visionary educator Lee Davies as its new principal. Davies brings more than 30 years of teaching and leadership experience with notable school groups across the GCC and UK.
Davies began his career with Al Najah Education as Headmaster of Dubai’s hugely popular Horizon International School (HIS) in the prestigious Jumeirah area. His tenure marked HIS as one of the fastest-growing schools in the region where he pioneered innovative science programmes and led successful initiatives for the 6th form. During his time as Director - Special Education Projects with Al Najah Education, Davies was behind various school improvement programmes, most notably the successful launch of Hay Al Sharooq International School’s new premise in Sur, Oman in 2018.
Lee Davies comments on his appointment, “I am delighted to be a part of the vibrant AGS community. AGS has had an exciting start and is a school of choice for both Omanis and Expats. Teamwork and collaboration with parents are an important part of the school’s development strategy. I will be working with the school team to ensure enhanced health and safety measures are in place for a positive start to the new academic year and beyond. I am confident that with our parents as our partners, we can continue to ensure that AGS is the beacon of education for the future generations in the Sultanate of Oman.”
Kishore Dash, COO of the School’s holding company adds, “As we continue to navigate through the COVID-19 pandemic, I believe that Davies’ expertise in school operations and child safeguarding will be an incredible asset to AGS. I know he is deeply passionate about education and that his leadership skills will, without a doubt, provide a positive guiding light for our students, their families, and staff at AGS.”
