Temperature rises over 48 degrees at this station in Oman

Muscat: The highest temperature recorded in the Sultanate on Saturday was at Fahud station.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said, "Fahud station recorded 48.3 degrees Celsius as the highest temperature among the meteorological stations yesterday. Saiq station recorded 23.3 degrees as the lowest temperature."
